The large and small traumas of life can lead to persistent suffering and feeling stuck. I take a pragmatic and individualized approach to mental health. Medications and other biological interventions are very helpful tools to reduce symptoms (such as those of depression, anxiety, and ADHD), however, often greater self-knowledge and understanding are also needed for better well-being and life satisfaction. Therefore my approach emphasizes reducing symptoms while also creating a uniquely safe and supportive relationship where we can through collaborative curiosity develop greater insight into the workings of the mind, leading to a greater sense of authenticity, agency, and wisdom.
